Dr. John Gillespie and Dr. Bob Gillespie are native Washingtonians and lifelong residents of Montgomery County, Maryland. They received their undergraduate education at the University of Maryland and were distinguished by membership in numerous honor societies, including Phi Beta Kappa.
They are Summa Cum Laude (top 1% of their class) graduates of Georgetown University School of Dentistry and were selected by the faculty for membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the prestigious National Dental Academic Honor Society. They were also distinguished among their graduating class with Outstanding Diagnostician and Most Professional Awards. They received post-graduate orthodontic specialty training at Georgetown University School of Dentistry, as well as Master of Science degrees upon completion of doctoral theses.
Dr. John Gillespie and Dr. Bob Gillespie have been practicing orthodontics in Bethesda, Maryland for over 25 years, and maintain memberships in numerous professional societies. These include the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists, the Maryland State Dental Association, and the Southern Maryland Dental Society, among others.
